Thermetic is a manufacturer for electrothermal exterior deicing/anti-icing applications. Our coaxial cable, mini tubular, and highly custom cartridge heaters are currently incorporated into pitot-static probes, pitot tubes, flush static ports, Angle of Attack (AOA) vanes, and strut leading edges. This is typically done by brazing to the interior of the sensor or assembly.
We offer designs with variable heat zones, multiple resistance element types (such as Balco ad nichrome in the same cable), compensating elements (Balco and alloy 99), and more. Our heaters are supplied as ready to form or pre-formed for a drop-in and braze process.
